10 Useful Wordpress Plugins

Here is a small showcase of some of the most useful Wordpress Plugins that would be really useful in anyones next design. These plugins are mostly very easy to use and simple to use.

  • 1. WPtouch iPhone Theme – Wptouch is a powerful little plugin that allows you to view your Wordpress site on an iPhone, iPod touch, Android or BlackBerry, as a unique, easy-to-view mobile design.
  • 2. WP-PageNavi – WP-PageNavi is a easy-to-use numeral page navigation. It adds a more advanced paging navigation your WordPress blog.
  • 3. Max Banner Ads – Allows you to easily add and rotate banners in your wordpress blog anywhere you like without editing any themes or touching any codes
  • 4. MM Forms – This is a really easy plugin to use. It allows you to create advanced contact forms, in just seconds. Doesn’t require any coding.
  • 5. Twitter For Wordpress – Twitter for WordPress is a simple plugin that displays yours latest tweets in your WordPress blog.
  • 6. Social Bookmarks – The Social Bookmarks plugin for WordPress adds a list of XHTML compliant graphic links at the end of your posts and/or pages that allow your visitors to easily submit them to a number of social bookmarking sites.
  • 7. WP-Gravatar – This plugin lets you use Gravatar, MyBlogLog, OpenAvatar, Wavatar, Identicon, monsterID or Favico.ico files with your comments.
  • 8. Tweetmeme Button – TThe TweetMeme retweet button easily allows your blog to be retweeted. The button also provides a current count of how many times your story has been retweeted throughout twitter.
  • 9. Lightbox 2 – Lightbox 2 is a very simple-to-use plugin that turn all your image hyper-links into a fancy javascript hover-layer gallery.
  • 10. Statpress – The first real-time plugin dedicated to the management of statistics about blog visits. It collects information about visitors, spiders, search keywords, feeds, browsers etc.
